The J/70 UK Class was out for a training weekend 2-3 April prior to the Grand Slam Round 1 which kicks off the season on 9-10 April. Eleven teams put their hands up for two days of world class coaching from Andrew ‘Dog’ Palfrey and Chris Grube. The Royal Southern Yacht Club hosted the event, providing bacon butties and coffee for the morning meeting, and more importantly – debrief facilities including video conferencing and a full bar!
